How to Avoid Scope Creep

One of the best ways to avoid scope creep is by talking about scope creep.

I like to bring it up to my stakeholders at the start of the project.

A simple conversation covering the following topics does wonders for keeping a project in check:

➡ What are the project requirements and how do we agree we will measure project success / completion?

➡ Who is the decision-maker?

➡ How will we handle change requests? What effect will they have on the time, cost, and quality of the project?

What techniques do you use to manage scope creep?
