Project managers should embrace the unknown
I don’t always know what’s next and most of the time I’m cool with that.
The unknown used to scare the socks off of me, but nowadays that’s just another Tuesday. 😂
And I’ve found the more I allow myself to experience it, the less scary it is, and the stronger I become.
I’m not saying I actively seek a life of chaos and uncertainty, but I’ll be honest that I’ve been through my fair share of it. What I’ve learned is I could spend a lifetime trying to control things outside of my control and literally get nowhere. Maybe even go backwards.
A more effective strategy? Accept what is out of my control and move unapologetically forward with the stuff that is.
➡ Interestingly, this critical life lesson is good for business, too.
Addressing curveballs with confidence, no matter what the outcome could be, well that’s the stuff leaders are made of. ⭐
❓ How do you feel about navigating the unknown?
