I Used to Believe Work was Supposed to be Soul-sucking

My early career jobs involved a lot of negative, yet sadly normalized stuff like:

  • Gossip

  • Secrecy

  • Scarcity

  • Hidden agendas

  • Unhealthy competition

  • More work for less pay

These experiences left me feeling scared, insecure, and even sick at times.

I began to believe there must be a better way, but people would laugh and tell me I should stop dreaming.

Luckily, I didn't stop. (cue Journey 🎵 )

And now that I'm building my own business, I am able to live it out. It's not just a dream, it's reality.

The clients, projects, and people I work with are full of passion and purpose. These are real people, with real money to spend on building businesses in a healthy way.

We collaborate, share, help, encourage, and work really hard to do good things together. Sure, it's not easy, but as I've said before, I'm not here for easy. 💪

And there's a huge difference between hard work that is soul-sucking versus fulfilling.

Don't buy into the belief that you are destined to sell your soul to the grind.

There is a better way.

And if you need help figuring it out, I'm here for it. 💫
