Founders: Are you making excuses?

If you think you aren’t good at project management because you chronically have trouble getting things done, the problem probably isn’t due to a lack of project management skills.

👉 Founders and startup CEOs: I know you often use this as an excuse to be sloppy in execution.

(Can we still be friends even though I’m calling you out here? 😁 )

Project management at its core is pretty simple: initiation, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, closing.

Break down work into manageable pieces. Time, cost, quality. Regular check-ins. It’s the exact same basic formula every time.

And, yes, I understand I’m highly simplifying something that could be made as complex as we want it to be.

But my point is there isn’t some secret you are missing. Sometimes it’s all about buckling down and getting things done (which I get, is often easier said than done).

And if you need a partner to help you through it, that’s why I’m here. 👋

I’ll listen, help you come up with a plan that focuses on value add instead of time waste, then work side by side as we hold each other accountable to get things done.  💪
