A good idea vs. a great idea: how do you know?

You might have a good idea if:

✅ It solves a problem.
✅ People will pay for it.

You might have a great idea if:

⭐ It solves a problem for a lot of people.
⭐ People will pay more than it costs to produce it.

There are lots of “good” ideas, but not all should go to market. And when you learn this the hard way, it has a way of sticking. 😉

➡ So how do you know if your idea is any good in the first place?

1) Throw it out there as an MVP to test the waters (Building in public makes this a whole lot easier, by the way).

2) Take the feedback as data and make adjustments - iterate, or pivot.

You may learn that it's not a good idea after all, in which case your ego will take a hit, but it's far better than sinking your time and money into something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. 💡
